How your contribution has helped

Thanks to your incredible support and generous donations to the foundation we are able to help over 600 people.
The following activities are currently underway.
ACCESS TO NUTRITION
Bags of food to provide access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food for people with HIV and their families.
With your donations we were able to distribute 192 food bags to families (approx 6 people per family)
Each bag of food contains :
rice —> 5 pounds (= 2,3 kg)
incaparina —> 6 pounds (= 2,7 kg)
sugar —> 25 pounds (= 11,3 kg)
pasta —> 5 pounds (= 2,3 kg)
oil —> 1 gallon (= 4,5 l)
salt —> 2 pounds (= 0,9 kg)
beans —> 5 pounds (=2,3 kg)
corn —> 25lbs (= 11,3 kg)
oatmeal —> 5 pounds ( = 2,3 kg)
EDUCATION
Your contribution helped to educate sick children and adults about HIV.
They were then able to independently organize presentations to educate others.
ACCESS TO CARE
Support will be given to provide access to vital antiretrovial therapy.
This includes transportation from the housing community in Alta Verapa to Hospicio San José Lucìa Milpas Altas, Sacatepéquez.
With your donation so far we are helping 280 people to access the care they need.
On the picture you see a 14 year old orphan who who strives day after day to earn an income. He gets support from our foundation.
ACCESS TO MEDICINE
Support will be provided for diagnostic tests and medication to treat opportunistic diseases.
With your donations so far we are helping 45 people access the medicine they need.
